Project Sunkalp conducted a cancer screening camp at Kallabiranpuram Panchayat Office, Madurantakam, reaching 54 beneficiaries from the local community.
The camp saw participation from 47 women and 7 men, with the following screenings completed:
44 iBreast examinations
54 Oral cancer examinations
Each person who came forward took an important step towards understanding their health and the value of early detection.
By bringing cancer screening services directly into villages and local communities, Kalpavriksham Trust is helping reduce barriers such as travel, cost, time and limited awareness. These camps also create opportunities to spread awareness among families and encourage preventive healthcare practices.
The participation at Kallabiranpuram reflects the growing importance of community-based screening and the need to make early detection more accessible for everyone.
Through Project Sunkalp, we continue to work with panchayats, healthcare professionals, local communities and CSR partners to expand access to cancer screening across Madurantakam.
With 54 beneficiaries, 44 iBreast examinations and 54 oral cancer examinations, this camp marks another meaningful step towards stronger cancer awareness and early detection in the community.
Kalpavriksham Trust is registered under 12AB, 80G and CSR-1 (MCA) and is listed on NGO Darpan. We provide transparent, camp-wise impact reports for every CSR partnership.
